Tenza Flour Mills Ltd is a new startup specializing in the production of high-quality wheat flour. Located in the Namanve Industry Area, we are committed to establishing a state-of-the-art facility that leverages advanced technology to deliver exceptional products.
Job Summary: Responsible for the production of quality and cost-effective flour that meets customer needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Discuss the economic grist with the Managing Director and Accountant and implement as agreed.
- Ensure proper cleaning and conditioning of grain to achieve maximum yield.
- Maintain moisture levels of flour milled at a range of 13.5% to 14%.
- Set the milling machines to achieve an extraction rate of 80% and above.
- Implement planned maintenance programs and carry out regular maintenance and repair of milling machines.
- Keep all production records, including statutory records such as fortification records.
- Maintain good hygiene and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) in the production area.
- Train, mentor, and motivate all production staff.
- Collaborate with the administrator to manage stock movement and reconciliation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Education:
- Secondary School Certificate
- Diploma in Milling or Advanced Certificate in Milling
Experience:
- At least three years of experience in grain milling at a busy milling company
