Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing and sending out Requests for Quotations/ Proposals to potential service providers/vendors. Following up for invoices and other procurement documents from vendors.
- Perform secretarial roles for procurement committee meetings.
- Conduct Purchase Order processing where applicable.
- Assist the Procurement Officer to conduct a vendor pre-qualification exercise, and subsequently update a service provider database Manage and update the Country Office procurement tracker with accurate information on a bi-weekly basis
- Scan and upload all Procurement Documents on a Country Office Platform Share point.
- Support retrieval of procurement document(s) on a needs-basis
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration or a related field.
- Partial or full CIPS qualification
- Experience of at least 3 years working with a Non-Governmental Organization, preferably implementing USAID funded work.
- Experience in use of Microsoft packages and internet
