Double Q Company Limited is a provider of heavy transport solutions, including trucks and excavators, with an extensive product-related service offering that includes: vehicle financing, insurance, GPS and rental services. Double Q Co. Ltd is the leading and authorized distributor of SINOTRUK and XCMG road equipment, as well as spare parts and accessories for heavy machines and trucks in Uganda. This includes trucks, mobile cranes and excavators, as well as product related service offerings such as: vehicle financing, insurance, GPS and rental services to enable our clients to focus on their core business.

Job Summary:   As we expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Spare Parts Sales Representative to join our team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers in-person, over the phone, or via online platforms, providing expert advice on automotive parts.

Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, specifications, and availability to effectively communicate with customers.

Sales and Targets: Achieve individual and team sales targets by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist in stock management, and help with ordering parts as necessary to ensure product availability.

Order Processing: Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy in pricing, parts identification, and delivery options.

Customer Follow-Up: Build and maintain relationships with customers through follow-up communications to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Problem Solving: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to parts selection, orders, or returns in a timely manner.

Sales Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory levels for reporting and analysis.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with service technicians and other team members to coordinate sales efforts and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in automotive technology or sales is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in automotive sales or parts department is preferred.

Skills:

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Proficient in using sales software and inventory management systems.

Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
