Bank of India Uganda Limited was registered in Uganda in 2011 and the license was granted to by Bank of Uganda on 13.03.2012 under Financial Institution Act, 2004. Bank of India (Uganda) Limited officially started operations on 18th -June-2012 by opening its first branch in Kampala-Uganda. We have bouquet of personal and corporate banking, Instant Fund Transfers and lucrative Foreign Exchange products which can be further be customized to satisfy customer requirements. Our bank is wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of India, one of the largest public sector banks in India, established in 1906 and having banking expertise and tradition of over 100 years.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Marketing of existing, new products and services of the Bank.
- Provide excellent customer services and addressing customer grievances with in shortest possible time.
- Contacting the customers of the Bank and obtaining the KYC documents periodically.
- Reactivation of dormant accounts by following up with clients.
- Build customer loyalty for the bank
- Identify and resolve customer needs and ensure quality services to customers.
- Provide banking assistance to bank customers in handling their transfers, deposits and payments.
- Mobilize new account openings, mobilization of deposits, and generation of quality advance leads.
- Account opening-ensuring that accounts are opened in the shortest time possible
- Promotion and cross-selling of banking products and services to customers.
- Identify and resolve customer needs and ensure quality services to customers. Directing the customers to the proper departments/ officials.
- Proper maintenance and upkeep of Bank’s records.
- Ensure compliance of Bank’s KYC, AML policies and regulatory norms
- Dealing with publicity and marketing aspects of Bank
- Reporting of performance at a regular interval at least on a monthly basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate should posses the following:
- Degree in a Business related field from a recognized Institution.
- One (1) year working experience in a Bank /Financial institution is a MUST in marketing field.
- Ability to lead team for improvement of Image of the Bank.
- A proven and extensive track record in Marketing from a financial institution.
- Highly organized person, with ability to multitask with ease Suitable basic knowledge in Computer is a must.
