Job Title: Cost Controller

About the Company:
SeaOwl Energy Services manages the complete recruitment cycle from sourcing, recruitment, mobilization and personnel planning for energy customers. It is specialized in highly-skilled profiles and the underlying activity of designees / staff mainly covers drilling and off-shore oil rig management. It also provides scalable, integrated operations & maintenance resources and services covering the lifecycle of energy assets, as well as tele-operated surveillance and maintenance services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the following key areas are addressed in an efficient and effective manner whilst complying with relevant Company policies and procedures:
Cost Control
- Ensure timely, reliable and accurate verification of costs against approved budget and contractual commitments;
Budget
- Ensure thorough budget development with clear and accurate depiction of key cost drivers and rates;
Reporting
- produce timely, reliable and accurate periodic and ad-hoc reporting to inform key stakeholders of actual costs, forecasts and relevant variances;
Stakeholder Management
- Ensure all budget holders under direct responsibility are fully supported in a timely, accurate and reliable manner on all cost control, budget and reporting matters;
Work Organization
- Ensure all relevant templates, procedures, guidelines and plans directly affecting job responsibilities are kept up-to date at least on a quarterly basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- BSc Degree in a Finance discipline. Professional Finance Qualifications (at least partial) is a major plus.
- 1-3+ years’ relevant professional experience (reporting, financial analysis, audit, cost control, budget).
- Strong analytical & communication skills.
- Detail and results oriented.
- ERP Systems and Data Analysis skills are a major plus.
- Industry/Company knowledge is a major plus.
- Fluent in English.
