Leceny Equipment Ltd is the authorized Distributor of SHACMAN Trucks and Sunward heavy equipment and machinery in East Africa.

Job Summary:   Leceny Equipment Ltd is seeking for experienced and results-driven Heavy  Truck Sales Representative to join our team in Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales:

• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for dump trucks, tractor heads, trailers among other machinery and equipment.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and markets
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers

Product Knowledge:

• Stay up-to-date on product features, benefits, and applications.

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service and support

Administrative Tasks

• Maintain accurate sales records and reports
• Manage sales pipeline and follow up with leads

Collaboration:

• Work with internal teams i.e. after sale services, spare parts & finance to ensure seamless customer experience
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Pro sales experience in the automotive or heavy equipment industry is an added advantage
• Relevant Education qualification in market business mechanical engineering.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong product knowledge and ability to learn new products quickly
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with heavy truck industry, market trends, and customer needs
