Job Summary:   We are looking for a dedicated Secondary Science Technician to support our Science Department. The role involves setting up equipment, assisting in practical lessons, maintaining safety, managing inventory, and supporting students and staff.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up equipment for science lessons.
  • Assist teachers during practical lessons, ensuring safety.
  • Maintain and organise laboratory equipment and materials.
  • Manage inventory and liaise with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support students during practical work.
  • Contribute to developing new practical activities.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in a science-related field.
  • Experience as a laboratory technician, preferably in a school.
  • Strong knowledge of lab safety procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
