Job Title:  Quality Controller  

Organisation: Imaana Yisirayeri Company Ltd

Duty Station: Nansana, Wakiso, Uganda

Reports to: Production Manager

About the Company:

Imaana Yisirayeri Company Ltd is a leading producer of high-quality drinks, ricommitted to delivering refreshing and innovative beverages to our valued customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor the production process to ensure that products meet quality standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality checks and procedures.
• Identify and address any quality issues or deviations from standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

 




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• A degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field is often required.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years working in a beverages company.

Skills:

• Knowledge of quality control procedures.
• Understanding of food safety regulations, such as those set by the FDA. EU, or local authorities.
• Ability to use quality testing tools, software, and equipment effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
