Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing project development procedures to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met on the project.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability expectancy on the project.
- Supports the construction roles in the management and control of subcontractors
- Provides technical and statistical expertise to teams
- Cooperates to issue relevant Work Procedures, Technical Queries, etc.
- Cooperate with the Production team to analyze non-conformities
- Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and ongoing quality control objectives
- Coordinates the relevant Tracking Systems for correct identification and/or approval of materials
- Supervises the correct equipment calibration management activities
- Supports and participates in internal/external audits
- Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs
- Create, document, and implement inspection criteria and procedures
- Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company
- Allocates Quality Control personnel to various areas of site activity, and oversees, and inspection activity for products throughout the production cycle
- Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes; Supervise inspections, reports, and documentation issued by inspectors and collect and file the required Quality Records
- Design, develop, and assess the implementation of the Quality Plan, Quality Control Plans, and quality control training programs
- Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality
- Supports the construction manager in dealing with the client on all quality matters, ensuring a high level of internal and external customer service.
- Supervises and steers the Quality Control functions and/or testing activities, including Quality Control inspection schedules and the collection of Quality Records to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Civil engineering or related qualification with knowledge and additional qualifications in quality system implementation and concrete quality control.
- Minimum 12 years of work experience with in-depth knowledge of Quality assurance/quality control procedures and legal standards.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing value large-value Onshore Projects in Oil & Gas industry
- Experience in developing and reviewing project quality plans, contract documents, and project specifications
- Coordinate test pack preparation and handover documentation dossiers/documentation to ensure a smooth handover
- Conduct and organize QMS internal/external audits and ensure close out of all inspection and audit conformities conformities-conformities
- Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent Communication skills.
