Job Summary: Xclusive seeks to recruit a Harvest Manager for Xclusive Young Plants Limited. Do you have knowledge in harvesting process to ensure required quality and quantity cuttings as per customer specifications? Can you ensure that subordinates send cuttings to the cold stores with the right weight target on time? Are you cooperative and a good coordinator? Are you result oriented? Can you lead a team of 20 people and above? Do you focus on quality and, are you a problem analyst?

We offer an interesting job with a lot of responsibility and autonomy in which you are to manage the harvesting process and ensure proper utilisation of available resources and human capital in order to produce good cuttings that meet customers’ demand and specifications.
You will report to Production Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or Horticulture course.
- Experience of 3 years and above in agriculture production field is an added advantage.
- Have good managerial skills.
- Strong Communication, planning, managing, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Computer Literate with basics in using Microsoft programs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that pickers harvest the right quality and quantity cuttings harvest instructions as per client satisfaction.
- Ensuring that supervisors send cuttings to the coldroom with the right weight target on time.
- Ensuring that hygiene protocols are logically followed by all supervisors, packers and pickers and ensure that harvest materials are not wasted.
- To ensure that the planting protocol is followed as per specification.
- To ensure that plant correction is done in time.
- To efficiently and effectively use resources provided and reporting of weights and shortages on time.
- Monitoring and evaluating the allocated budgets.
- Coaching, evaluating, and developing harvest teams.
