Job Purpose:

• Responsible for the receipt, storage, and issuance of products, raw materials, and packaging materials.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures proper storage and security of inventory in a fast-paced and regulated environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:   Responsible For

• Receive and inspect products, raw materials, and packaging materials.
• Store items in designated areas and maintain organized inventory.
• Issue materials and goods to authorized personnel for production, quality control, and shipping.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, receipts, and issuances.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage and security of products and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing orders and shipments.
• Collaborate with logistics, production, and quality control teams to optimize inventory management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Educational Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and logistics management or any related field

Specific Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management in a regulated industry (consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (if required)
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management software (if required)
• Familiarity with regulations and compliance requirements for consumer goods (e.g. product safety, labeling, etc.)

Salary Gross pay: 800,000UGX
