Job Purpose:
- Responsible for the receipt, storage, and issuance of products, raw materials, and packaging materials.
- Maintains accurate records and ensures proper storage and security of inventory in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible For
- Receive and inspect products, raw materials, and packaging materials.
- Store items in designated areas and maintain organized inventory.
- Issue materials and goods to authorized personnel for production, quality control, and shipping.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, receipts, and issuances.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and security of products and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing orders and shipments.
- Collaborate with logistics, production, and quality control teams to optimize inventory management.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Educational Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and logistics management or any related field
Specific Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management in a regulated industry (consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (if required)
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management software (if required)
- Familiarity with regulations and compliance requirements for consumer goods (e.g. product safety, labeling, etc.)
Salary Gross pay: 800,000UGX
