Job Summary: This role is outward-facing, positioning the incumbent as the forefront representative of our company. The successful candidate will demonstrate unwavering dedication to formulating and implementing a robust sales strategy. The primary objective is to propel sustainable financial growth by amplifying sales and cultivating robust client connections. Responsibilities include steering organizational sales through the formulation of execution plans, meeting predetermined objectives, and innovatively expanding our sales database through various channels. Additionally, the candidate will assume the responsibility of overseeing sales activities and performance. This involves meticulously tracking sales goals, establishing individual sales targets, and facilitating the continuous exploration of new avenues for sales expansion.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing Strategy Development
- Develop strategies to meet sales objectives set by management, including forecasting and establishing monthly sales quotas for existing and new products.
- Lead the implementation of sales programs by developing and tracking field sales action plans and budgets.
Distribution Management
- Continually assess the current business distribution channels.
- Develop and evaluate the performance of existing distribution channels.
- Identify opportunities for optimizing and expanding distribution networks.
Data Management and Client Relations:
- Maintain data relative to sales, clients, and activities.
- Document all customer interactions for a comprehensive understanding of client needs.
- Coordinate delivery of information internally, ensuring smooth communication between different departments.
Promoting Brand Visibility and Lead Generation:
- Lead sales marketing efforts to promote the company’s products and services.
- Organize and report on marketing drives and activities.
- Increase brand visibility through internal and external strategic engagements (data and client-focused) and external (social media and client interactions).
- Develop and execute strategies for generating leads to support sales objectives.
- Implement targeted initiatives to identify and capture potential customers.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective lead-generation campaigns.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess the success of lead generation efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure a continuous pipeline of potential clients to support sustained sales growth.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Establish and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators and sales metrics.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and challenges to management.
- Analyze data to derive actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to developing comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, including operational targets and market data analysis.
Market Research:
- Conduct thorough research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and industry developments.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities, providing strategic insights into their market positioning.
- Gather external market data, including competitor analysis, to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in business/ sales or other related field.
- Two to three years of experience in planning and implementing and monitoring sales strategies
- Preferably one year experience in the construction industry.
- Ability to use computers for a variety of tasks (Word processors, Spreadsheets, email packages)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to providing great customer service.
- Flexible and can work with minimal supervision
