Job Summary: Shark Media is looking for a skilled Accounts Assistant to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and administrative tasks. Shark Media is a market leader in quality printing. We are specialists in printing and publishing books, magazines, brochures, business cards, annual reports, calendars, pocket files, fliers, and posters.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Create and update expense reports
- Process payments and requisitions
- Prepare bank deposits
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases
- Check spreadsheets for accuracy
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
- Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
- Review and file payroll documents
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Good mathematical skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Hands-on experience with Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Organization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- A qualification in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field
