Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Electric Technician with expertise in both electrical systems and mechanical maintenance, particularly within the wheat flour milling industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our milling equipment and electrical systems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems and machinery.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety standards and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the mechanical team to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates.
- Installation: Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and machinery.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Experience: Proven experience as an Electric Technician, preferably in a flour milling environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and mechanical systems.
- Industry Knowledge: Background in wheat flour milling and mechanical systems is highly desirable.
- Certification: Relevant technical certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
