Job Summary: Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Statistician to join our team under the Forecasting outbreak risks from extreme climate with active surveillance technology (FORECAST) project in Kampala, Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: The successful candidate will have:
- A post-graduate degree in medical statistics or biostatistics
- Substantial experience in data management and analysis role
- Advanced data management and analysis skills using Stata
- Previous experience in the public health sector, especially in malaria and/or arboviral disease research or control projects
- Experience in time series analysis of longitudinal data
- Experience in geographic information system (GIS) tools and methods
- Significant experience in survey design and implementation
- Good understanding of health management information systems and experience with DHIS
- Proficiency in the development of databases and data management of research projects
