Job Title: Sales Executive – Export

Duty Station: Lubowa, Kampala, Uganda
Reporting to: Group Exports Manager

Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa.
Job Summary: The Sales Executive-Exports will drive the company’s products in the most profitable ways within the export market. We are looking for a passionate person to join our sales team and responsible for generating leads, closing sales, continuously meeting sales set targets and sales growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Explore new opportunities for selling within the Exports market.
- Invite existing and potential exports customers to our existing factories and new projects in order to see our product lines.
- Ensure development of a strong Exports customer base which optimizes the company’s market share.
- Promote and sell all Roofings products in the most profitable way within the Exports market.
- Drive and achieve Territory dealer Sales Target per Month.
- Drive New dealer recruitment within their Territories.
- Increase dealer productivity and capacity through generating sales, dealer business assessment and advisory servicing.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- Prepare reports on monthly sales performance.
- Follow up on exports orders with Production.
- Do market visits and share reports to the Group Exports Manager.
- Any other duty as may be assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in the sales and marketing field preferably from a Steel Manufacturing company
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any equivalent course from a recognized university.
- Good interpersonal skill and Computer Knowledge is essential.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service
- Superior in communication skills and able to speak KISWAHILI fluently
