Job Title:  Social Media Marketing Intern (No Experience Jobs)

About the Company:

To address the issue of unemployment in Uganda by creating opportunities for individuals to access freelance work, Weenja was established with the mission to provide a comprehensive dual-platform that serves as both an online marketplace for buying and selling, as well as a platform for freelance services.

Job Summary:   This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Marketing Intern at Weenja in Kira. The Intern will be responsible for managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, implementing digital marketing strategies, and enhancing communication with the audience. Daily tasks will focus on promoting Weenja’s platform, engaging users, and driving growth through social media channels.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing skills
• Social Media Content Creation abilities
• Strong background in Marketing and Communication
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Knowledge of social media analytics and advertising tools
• Creativity and a passion for social media trends
• Relevant coursework or internship experience in Marketing or Communication
