Job Summary: As the Data Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting across Equatorial Power’s projects. This pivotal role involves leveraging data analysis tools to extract meaningful insights, aiding EP and our clients in making informed decisions based on various facts and trends. Familiarity with clean energy access projects and preferably agro value chains is essential.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Collection: Reviewing existing systems and implementing enhancements for efficient data gathering, including lot utilization.
- Data Analysis: Utilizing data from various sources to provide insights for continuous improvement of operational and technical systems.
- Software Checking Controlling and managing technologies online tools and
- M&E Reporting: Reporting outcomes derived from data to grantees and investors.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Prospective Data Analysts are expected to meet the following qualifications:
- Having completed or being enrolled to a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Energy Engineering or a related field.
- Technical knowledge of data models, database API collections, and data visualization.
Skills and Competencies:
- The following skills and competencies are crucial for a position as a Data Analyst at Equatorial Power:
- Effective planning and project management skills.
- Knowledge and experience with mini-grid-based energy access projects are preferable.
- Proficiency in statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, Python, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
- Being highly motivated, proactive, and team-working oriented.
