Job Title:  Accounting Intern (No Experience Jobs)

Duty Station: Kikyusa, Luwero, Uganda

Salary: 450,000 / =Ugandan Shillings per month

Job Summary:   We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a student in the field of accounting to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and record keeping
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist with bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable
• Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accounting program (degree or diploma)
• Strong interest in accounting and financial management
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
