Job Title: Accounting Intern (No Experience Jobs)

Duty Station: Kikyusa, Luwero, Uganda
Salary: 450,000 / =Ugandan Shillings per month

Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a student in the field of accounting to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and record keeping
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable
- Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accounting program (degree or diploma)
- Strong interest in accounting and financial management
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
