Job Summary: The IT Support Lead will lead the design, implementation, and operation of M&E systems from project initiation to closeout. She/he will oversee the monitoring, evaluation, analytics, and reporting of performance and results, providing regular project reports





Key Duties and Responsibilities:

AI-Enabled Job Platform Management

  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the AI-enabled job matching platform
  • Collaborate with AI specialists to refine and improve the platform’s algorithms and functionality

Digital Skills Training Support

  • Ensure data security and privacy compliance for the platform
  • Provide technical support for digital skills training sessions, including setup and troubleshooting of training equipment
  • Develop and maintain training materials related to IT and digital skills
  • Assist in curriculum development for technical aspects of the digital skills training program

IT Infrastructure Management

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware
  • Implement IT security measures and ensure compliance with data protection regulations

Technical Support

  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to staff and program participants
  • Manage the IT helpdesk and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Train staff on new technologies and IT best practices
  • System Integration and Development
  • Integrate various IT systems and tools used in the program
  • Identify and implement new technologies to improve program efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for IT solutions

Data Management and Analysis

  • Oversee the collection, storage, and management of program data
  • Assist in data analysis and reporting, particularly for the AI-enabled job platform
  • Ensure data integrity and implement data backup and recovery procedures
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to job matching and digital skills training
  • Propose and implement innovative IT solutions to enhance program delivery
  • Continuously assess and improve IT systems and processes

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Five years of experience in IT management and support, preferably in an educational or workforce development setting
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, particularly in job matching applications
  • Experience with database management, web technologies, and networking
  • Familiarity with digital skills training and e-learning platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in project management and team leadership
  • Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure management and support
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, especially in job matching applications
  • Proficiency in database management systems and SQL
  • Experience with web technologies and cloud computing platforms
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in network administration and security protocols
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital skills training methodologies
  • Strong project management and team leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative IT solutions
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing technology landscapes
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Customer service-oriented mindset in providing IT support
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies
  • Collaborative approach to working with diverse teams and stakeholders
