Job Summary:   The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s n operations, ensuring that business goals are met efficiently and effectively. The GM will develop strategic plans, manage resources, and lead a high-performing team to drive the company’s success.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
• Ensure alignment of company policies and procedures with overall business goals.

Operational Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement best practices to improve operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and risk management.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing management team.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Implement training and development programs to enhance team skills and capabilities.

Customer and Stakeholder Relations:

• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress toward goals.
• Prepare regular reports for the CEO/Board of Directors.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably as a General Manager or similar position.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
