Job Title: Store Keeper (Fresher Jobs)

Duty Station: Lubowa, Wakiso, Uganda
About the Company:
Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, store & distribute materials as per the approved documents.
- Give Instruction to load items to customers & verify the same while loading
- Daily counting of physical stock & preparing opening balance before forwarding to office.
- To ensure proper housekeeping of stores
- Issue goods upon approved requisitions, invoice note and delivery notes.
- Take part in stocktaking or verification exercise as per schedule of management or stores.
- Keeping store in order and labeling of stock for easy identification and retrieval
- Manage and supervise manpower in stores
- Train support/casual staff on handling and identification of materials in the store
- Control Damage of materials in the store.
- Ensure that the physical stocks are always tallying with the bin cards and system quantities
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary by management
- Adherence and enforcement of all safety rules
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in stores Management /procurement or any other related course from recognised university
- A minimum of two years of experience from similar work environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
- Must be self-motivated and a great team player.
