Job Summary: We are looking to hire a talented PHP website developer, that will be responsible for designing and developing all types of websites.
To ensure success as a PHP website developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, understanding of graphics designs, and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting analysis of website requirements.
- Writing front-end and back-end codes.
- Integrating API.
- Responding to integration requests from other developers.
- Maintaining legacy websites to enhance performance.
- Upgrading existing websites.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science or any other related web development course.
- Knowledge of PHP Object-oriented frameworks minimum of 2 years especially Laravel.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
- Understanding of WordPress theme programming.
- Proficient with code versioning tools ie Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with UML diagrams
- Familiarity with Graphics designing software including Adobe Master suite.
- Ability to learn new technologies and adopt different working platforms.
- Ability to multitasking and work in team work.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Good problem-solving skills.
