Job Summary:   We are looking for a confident, detail-oriented, self-driven, and fast-moving editor with unbeatable oral and written communication skills and a seamless interest in developing a diverse portfolio of high-quality books.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conceive, write and edit novels, scripts, poetry, and other material for publication or presentation.
• Conduct research to establish accurate and factual content and acquire other necessary information.
• Analyze and select material for publication, check style and grammar, arrange for any necessary revisions, and check proof copies before printing.
• Draft and negotiate author contracts through to the approval signature.
• Build strong relationships with authors.
• Identify, advise and act appropriately on ethical or legal concerns relating to publication (e.g., publication misconduct, libel, and copyright).
