About Organisation:
AMBA Finance Uganda Limited is a registered microfinance company providing short and medium-term financing to individuals and SMEs. Since inception in 2020, we’ve been supervised by Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority (UMRA).
Job Summary: This is a full-time on-site role for a Credit Officer Microloans. The Credit Officer will be responsible for analyzing credit applications, assessing creditworthiness and risk, managing loan disbursement and repayment, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing financial advice to clients. The Credit Officer will also maintain accurate client records and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Credit Management and Credit skills
- Analytical skills
- Finance knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Experience in the microfinance industry is a plus
