Job Summary:   The Audit and Certification Officer will be responsible for ensuring company products and processes meet specific standards set by regulatory bodies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement internal Company Policies as required by regulatory bodies
• Ensure the processes and products are compliant with set standards
• Proper documentation and Standardization of company Policies
• and Procedures in accordance with regulatory requirement.
• Make regular reports on matters related to certification and compliance
• Carry out internal audits of the company from time to time to
• ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
• Responsible for coordinating external audits of the company
• Analyze audit results and prepare reports.
• Develop and implement training Programs.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Diploma/certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage
• An understanding of the floriculture industry, including production processes, supply chain dynamics, market trends, and sustainability practices.
• In-depth knowledge of major certifications such as ISO, Its SO, GAP, Greencare and Green compliance
• Knowledge in certification processes, auditing, risk and compliance assessment,
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong sense of urgency and achievement (result oriented)
• Fluent in English/ Luganda is an added advantage
• Must have impeccable character and high integrity.
