Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Fresher Jobs)

About the Company:
Teso cooperative Union came into being after the Government had responded to the demands of the Cooperative Associations to process their cotton and entrusted them with some cotton ginneries after the cotton ordinance act of 1952.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must possess a Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting. Finance or Cooperative Development from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ proven relevant experience in Administration, Finance, and Accounting. Previous experience in working with a cooperative society is an added advantage.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in utilization of MS Office applications.
- Proven knowledge of accrual accounting Excellent knowledge of English, Ateso or Kumam.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in cooperation with team members, independently, and under stressful conditions.
- Fleet management.
- Solid work ethics, initiative, result orientation, ability and willingness to complete difficult and time-consuming tasks.
- Basic knowledge in Computer Accounting package is a MUST.
