About Organisation:

Raising Gabdho Foundation (RGF), a social enterprise committed to providing clean, accessible, and sustainable cooking energy to vulnerable communities, is seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to contribute to our mission and gain valuable experience in finance and accounting.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Finance roles:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Assist in conducting financial analysis, identifying key performance indicators, and contributing to trend analysis.
  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models for the manufacturing/production division.
  • Assist in monitoring budget variances and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Cost Accounting:

  • Learn and assist in end-to-end cost accounting for the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with production teams to understand cost structures and contribute to cost optimization efforts.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather data for cost analysis.

Inventory Management:

  • Gain exposure to inventory management by assisting in reconciling inventory accounts.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to understand inventory levels and contribute ideas for operational efficiency.

Financial Reporting:

  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the manufacturing division.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into financial performance.

Sustainability Analysis:

  • Support comprehensive business analysis, focusing on financial performance and growth opportunities.
  • Learn to apply analytics to evaluate the impact of operational decisions on financial results and sustainability objectives.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Statistics only (graduated within the last 1 year)- Only recent graduates will be considered.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical software.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
