NFT Consult Limited is a business process outsourcing firm with offices in Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, Botswana Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Burundi and South Sudan.

 

Client Brief:

Our client is seeking for a driver who can safely transport personnel and assets between designated locations while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adherence to safety protocols.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include dropping and picking up staff, collecting various packages, and maintaining a travel log to record work hours, travel- time and locations travelled to.
  • Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
  • Maintain high standard of service to both internal and external guests.
  • Ensure punctuality and safe transport.
  • Have basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintain official vehicle in clean and road-worthy condition.
  • Ensure that safe driving practices are adhered to and observe the road and traffic laws and regulations
  • Ensure vehicle is kept clean, tidy and in good working condition always.
  • Ensure vehicle is always kept secure.
  • Ensure vehicle is given regular/day-to-day maintenance checks.
  • Ensure vehicle insurance and registration is updated according to schedule.

 



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or Senior Four
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as driver in a corporate environment with good driving record.
  • Must have Valid driving license (class B) and a certificate in defensive driving
  • Excellent driving skills and a good understanding of the transport laws and regulations.
  • Flexible, effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge about car mechanics.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good in communicating in English.
  • Being well-organized and systematic.
  • Careful, accountable, responsible and punctual.
  • A team player – personable, caring, helpful, reliable and diplomatic, honest and approachable.
  • Good personal grooming & personal presentation.
  • Discreet and respectful of confidentiality.
