Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our executive team and drive the operational excellence of Ride Link. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in optimizing business operations, fostering innovation, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities and develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients, understanding their logistics needs and presenting tailored solutions, Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and successfully onboard new clients.
- Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including logistics providers, technology partners, and industry influencers and collaborate with partners to enhance service offerings and market reach.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets and build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently closing deals to drive business growth.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling.
- Address client feedback and concerns promptly to maintain positive partnerships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration through collaborating with internal teams, including operations, technology, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of services and alignment with client expectations.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and establish a strong market presence.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on business development activities and outcome and analyze Market metrics to optimize strategies and improve overall performance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the logistics or e-commerce industry.
- Strong understanding of e-logistics trends, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in using data to drive decision-making.
- Adaptability to a dynamic startup environment.
