Job Title: Audit Senior

About Organisation:
SAPI & Associates is one of the indigenous accounting firms registered in Uganda. We render Audit, Assurance, Tax and Financial advisory services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end.
- Identifying and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant tasks
- Supervising junior auditors (audit assistant) assigned to engagements proving guidance and overall review of their work.
- Ensuring audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances and risk.
- Developing audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
- Obtaining and reviewing evidence ensuring
- audit conclusions are well – documented.
- Ensuring adherence at all times to all applicable firm / professional standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Accounting
- Active student pursuing an accounting qualification such as ACCA and CPA
- Working knowledge of CaseWare Software
- Ability to deliver a draft audit opinion
