Job Summary: The Risk, Recovery Tracking Administrator will supervise a team of recovery and tracking officers in line with the company policies, and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Employee’s duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to the following:
- Conduct detailed risk assessments, which involves analysing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business.
- Develop and implement policies and contingency plans to reduce and control risks and liabilities.
- Prepare and present risk assessment reports.
- Review loan documents and liaise with internal and external parties to ensure proper and efficient loan recovery.
- Generate, review and maintain loan disbursement reports and provide monthly reports on the same, in accordance with the credit policy and guidelines.
- Ensure all lending Documentation is complete as per the Company Policy and Procedures.
- Identify non-performing loans and proactively follow up to ensure appropriate action is taken in line with credit policy.
- Monitor all irregularities, past dues, documentation deficiencies, etc., and report to the Branch Manager.
- Conducting spot checks on the recovery team
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
- Monitor and evaluate staff’s performance, and provide relevant guidance, coaching and training ensuring high lperfromance levels line with the company and departmental guidelines.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Microfinance or any related field
- Applicant must have at least two (2) years working experience in micro credit environment or a similar role
- Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to function under pressure.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have high levels of personal and professional integrity
- Must be able and willing to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid riding license with Class A
