Job Summary:  The technical sales person will be responsible for reaching out to clients to advise them on different solutions for their different work flows. Therefore, the incumbent is generating sales prospects for the different products within the Wagtech Projects portfolio.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and prioritizes new client opportunities and sales potential for the respective product lines with the result of the growing business coordinates actions to enhance market penetration.
  • Uncover new potential opportunities within the market and customer segment with a view to maximize allegiance and sales revenue
  • Proactively develops and drives sales strategies across the respective product lines.
  • Deeply understands account organization and has the ability to develop trust and valued relationships with major decision makers clarifies goals and reaches agreement while maintaining interests of all parties.
  • Acts as a trusted adviser for key contacts within an account and bring in technical expertise as needed to advance the solution process.
  • Apply and develop the Business unit strategy from prospection to closing.




Qualifications Skills and Experience:

  • A Degree in either Chemical engineering, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry.
  • Must have worked in a laboratory
  • Experience in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Self motivated and creative
  • Disciplined and works with minimal supervision
  • Relationship management skills
  • Report writing and presentation skills
  • Analytical skills, detail oriented.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of modern analytical techniques and applications like electrochemistry, Microbiology ETC
