Job Summary: The Call Center Officer will be responsible for attending to customer’s and provider queries by determining their requirements, answering to these inquiries, resolving problems, and fulfilling customer’s requests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering or making calls to clients to learn about and address their needs.
- Building lasting relationships with clients and other call center team members.
- Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.
- Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call center metrics.
- Making sales or recommendations for products or services that may better suit client needs.
- Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must be a fresh graduate from a recognized university
- Relevant general insurance and life insurance related knowledge will be an added advantage
- Excellent marketing, presentation and communication skills.
- Customer focus and management oriented.
- Medical professionals have an added advantage.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and packages
- One year of experience in a Call Centre environment would be an added advantage.
- Customer Service orientation
- Language Diversity; Swahili, Runyankole, Luo and West Nile
- Data entry skills
- Listening skills
- Phone Skills
- Adaptability
- Attention to detail.
- Good Interpersonal relationships
