Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Retail Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of pharmacy operations, regulations, and guidelines, possess excellent leadership and management skills, and have the ability to make critical decisions regarding healthcare services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of pharmaceutical sales representatives, including setting sales targets and monitoring performance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, to promote product awareness.
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure continuous availability of medications.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A degree in a medical-related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
- State-approved license to practice as a pharmacist.
- Proven experience in a managerial capacity at a pharmacy.
- Significant experience in sales and marketing within a pharmacy setting.
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.

- Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles, ability to make sound decisions, and a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.

- Decision Making: Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understanding and following laws, rules, and regulations.
