About Organisation:
The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) is the Leader of Government Business in Parliament and responsible for the coordination and implementation of Government Policies across Ministries, Departments and other Public Institutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage procurements of all goods and services for the Department of Refugees
- Raise, place and follow up purchase orders with suppliers in accordance with UNHCR and PPDA guidelines.
- Liaise with the user Sections in the development and management of contracts
- Prepare and issue approved contract documents
- Secretary of the DoR Contracts Committee.
- Prepare and manage DoR procurement plan
- Responsible for the DoR procurement records and archives
- Any other duty assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Applicants should be Ugandans holding an honours Degree in Procurement and Supply chain Management or Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management from a recognised University.
- A CIPS qualification shall be added advantage.
- Three years working experience is a pre-requisite for this position.
