Job Title: Machine Operator (15 Positions)

Duty Station: Lubowa, Kampala, Uganda
About Organisation:
Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To produce in the required quality and quantities of goods from the machine allocated.
- Minimize scrap generation.
- Machine setting and preparation of product ready to be packed.
- Operate the machine & ensure proper usage of raw material.
- Product marking as per the standards.
- Daily record keeping for production and down time.
- Conditional monitoring of machines and reporting of faults for rectification.
- Machine cleaning, lubrication and tightening of fasteners.
- General housekeeping of the work environment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Ordinary diploma in Mechanical engineering from recognized University.
- At least three years of working experience as a Machine Operator in a similar work environment.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Must be self-motivated and a great team player.
