Job Title:  IT Officer

Reports to: Chief Finance Officer

About Organisation:

NFT Consult Ltd is a business process outsourcing firm with offices in Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, Botswana Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Burundi and South Sudan.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implementing, managing and maintaining IT Projects.
• Managing and maintaining LAN & WAN infrastructure.
• Managing and maintaining line of business applications (Sage, Tarantula, Invendis, Email systems, Office 356).
• Managing and maintaining NOC applications.
• Managing and maintaining biometric, access controls.
• Managing and maintaining IT security.
• Serving as the liaison among all stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting and supporting IT incidents.

Qualifications Skills and Experience:

• A BSC degree or HND in Computer Engineering or IT Software Engineering and any IT-related course and Telecom Engineering.
• CCNA certified network qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5-7 years with a network or a telecom company
• Knowledge of working on servers, both Windows and Linux, networking, programming languages like Python, Java, PHP Language, data bata design and Management.
• Hardware Support, IT Operations Management, Software Testing and debugging, Information Security, Software and Hardware Troubleshooting, Website Management, HTML, MS Office, CSS, WordPress, Workstation, Management, System administrations, Virtualization, Web Hosting, Teamwork, Agile Project Management.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
