Job Summary: Sokoni Africa Limited is currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Hotel Store Manager to join our team. As a Hotel Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel’s store, including inventory management, purchasing, and sales. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel’s store and delivering outstanding service to our guests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s store, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
- Manage inventory levels and monitor stock availability to meet guest demands
- Create and implement effective purchasing strategies to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the store
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Store Manager, preferably in a hotel or retail environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and purchasing practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite, material control system and other inventory management software
