Job Summary: The Research Associate will support our public sector consulting team by collecting and analysing data to provide valuable insights on market opportunities and challenges, emerging developments and projects, as well as current government plans and decisions. These insights will be crucial in guiding the team’s business development strategies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on public sector trends, policies, and developments.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data from various sources to understand market opportunities and challenges.
- Monitor and analyse new developments and projects initiated by funders and international development partners.
- Stay updated on current government plans, decisions, and policy changes relevant to our clients and service line.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefs summarizing research findings and providing actionable recommendations.
- Assist in identifying potential business opportunities based on research insights.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of research activities and data sources.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Political Science, Quantitative Economics, International Development, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in research, policy analysis, or consulting, preferably within the public sector.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in research, policy analysis, or consulting, preferably within the public sector.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel).
- Knowledge of public sector issues, international development, and policy analysis is highly desirable.
