Job Summary: The Dynamic and proactive Partnership Associate to join our team at GLF. The Partnership Associate will be instrumental in collaborating with the Partnerships Manager to foster and manage strategic partnerships with various stakeholders including local communities, businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and sustainability of GLF through collaborative initiatives and community engagement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with local communities, businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations to support GLF’s mission and objectives.
- Identify potential partnership opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including conducting outreach, networking, and attending community events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand partnership needs and objectives, ensuring alignment with GLF’s values, priorities, and strategic goals.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, outlining terms, expectations, and mutual benefits for all parties involved.
- Coordinate partnership activities and initiatives, including joint events, promotional campaigns, and community outreach programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner organizations, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership performance and impact, tracking key metrics and reporting on outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in partnership development and community engagement, recommending innovative approaches and strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop partnership collateral, including presentations, proposals, and promotional materials.
- Represent GLF at external meetings, conferences, and events to showcase partnership opportunities and build brand awareness.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; additional certifications in partnership management or community engagement are advantageous.
- Proven experience in partnership development, community engagement, or related roles, preferably in the agriculture, tourism, or non-profit sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to identify shared goals and cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and partnership development.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software; experience with partnership management platforms is a plus.
- Passion for sustainability, environmental conservation, and community development.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel occasionally and work outside regular business hours as needed.
