Job Summary: The Electrician will maintain the press and auxiliary equipment in the plant, install and commission new equipment and supervise service level providers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan production maintenance for weekly, monthly. bi-monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that all the tasks specified by the planner are carried out on due dates in accordance with the approved procedures.
- Supervises service level providers to carry out
- proper maintenance on equipment when due.
- Attends to breakdowns promptly during production and solves problems within the shortest time possible.
- Installs and commissions new equipment including hardware and software.
- Counter checks the work assigned to Electrical Technician to ensure thoroughness.
- Ensure the use of quality work practices.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Academic: Basic University degree in Electrical /Electronic Engineering
- Professional: Engineer registration board certificate
- Experience: At least 2 years working experience
- Very strong drive for results
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to follow through and close issues
- Willing to work long hours
- Planning and organization skills
