Job Summary:  The Electrician will maintain the press and auxiliary equipment in the plant, install and commission new equipment and supervise service level providers.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan production maintenance for weekly, monthly. bi-monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure that all the tasks specified by the planner are carried out on due dates in accordance with the approved procedures.
  • Supervises service level providers to carry out
  • proper maintenance on equipment when due.
  • Attends to breakdowns promptly during production and solves problems within the shortest time possible.
  • Installs and commissions new equipment including hardware and software.
  • Counter checks the work assigned to Electrical Technician to ensure thoroughness.
  • Ensure the use of quality work practices.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Academic: Basic University degree in Electrical /Electronic Engineering
  • Professional: Engineer registration board certificate
  • Experience: At least 2 years working experience
  • Very strong drive for results
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to follow through and close issues
  • Willing to work long hours
  • Planning and organization skills
