Job Summary: The AC Technician is mainly responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in various settings, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in AC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and repair requests promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in electrical engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in AC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of AC electrical principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
