Health Promotion International Ltd (HPI) is a legal entity registered in Uganda on 28th July 2010 under the companies Act CAP.110, with our principal office located at Plot 83 Bukoto Street in Kamwokya, Kampala. HPI is a credible Environmental, Social, Health and Safety service provider in Uganda. We provide tailor made services that uniquely respond to existing needs of infrastructure development projects by facilitating capacity building, social risk management, accelerating access to health services, restoration of social assets for Project Affected Persons (PAPs), collaborations and partnerships/stakeholder engagements and fast-tracking contractor HSE compliance requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out activities aimed at promoting the project image.
- Produce documents and correspondences.
- Offer support to all teams in designing and editing materials for a range of audiences and contexts.
- Executing social media strategies and maintaining web content.
- Produce and edit internal and external communication articles (e.g. publications, social media posts and newsletters)
- Facilitate effective in-house communications.
- Ensure compliance to HPI’s branding, style, Communication Policies and Guidelines across all project materials.
- Ensuring that data protection and privacy in accordance with the Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019 is embedded.
- Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
- Regularly meet with and conduct interviews with the project stakeholders for documentation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with Honors in Communications Skills and Literature, Public Relations, Mass communication and any other related field
- Membership in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) is an added advantage.
- A minimum of three years of working experience in similar position.
- Proficiency in graphics design and use of the following applications Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe photo-shop, Adobe In-design, has experience in website management.
