Job Summary: The Civil Engineer will contribute to reach maximum completion of Projects Civil works by performing the appropriate procedures to ensure the projects are done within budget and in compliance with the OH&S regulations. In addition, they will have to ensure all plant documents are properly managed through implementation of a comprehensive documents management process. Prepare necessary drawings for all plant modifications; ensure proper filing and storage of plant drawings, manuals and other technical documentation.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • OH&S and environment: Guarantee compliance with OH&S and Environment policies for projects maintenance personnel working under the projects Engineer Civil.
  • Contribute to plant cleanliness and Risk Analysis and suggest mitigation measures for civil works.
  • Prepare quality Bill of Quantities for the required civil structures and modifications.
  • Oversee and onsite monitoring of critical works during construction phases.
  • Review and approval of civil drawings and follow up with the approval process.
  • Do engineering and designing of structures according to the engineering design standards.
  • Use AUTOCAD drawing as a tool for civil drawings developments.
  • Performing quality control tasks on budget, schedules, plans and personnel performance and reporting on the project’s status.
  • Responsible for producing technical drawings of various plant machinery, and layout and modifying existing ones to suit required engineering designs.
  • Responsible for verification of drawings for information accuracy.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Technology with 5 years’ experience in a busy process or heavy industrial environment.
  • Technical Knowledge of drawing of mechanical equipment and civil drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Ability to communicate and work under minimum supervision.
  • Reliable/independent and innovative.
  • Decision making capability.
  • Results Oriented.
