Job Summary: The Assistant Manager – Environmental Social and Governance will develop and implement ESG strategies, conduct assessments, and ensure clients meet regulatory requirements and sustainability goals. Your expertise will help our clients in different sectors to mitigate risks while addressing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead ESG advisory projects, providing expert insights and recommendations.
- Conduct ESG risk assessments and due diligence for clients and projects.
- Develop customized ESG strategies, KPIs and frameworks for measuring and monitoring impact for clients to enhance their sustainability performance.
- Leads and coaches clients in the deployment of Net Zero focus programs.
- Supports clients in ESG reporting and disclosure in line with global standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field.
- A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA ESG, SASB FSA, GRI) in sustainability or ESG would be a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in ESG consulting, sustainability, or a related field.
- Proven track record in project management, client relationship management and team leadership within environ-mental, sustainable development, engineering field, energy and power, and/or other industry sectors with the focus on ESG/Climate/Environmental impact.
