Job Title: Accounts Officer
Organisation: Rushere Cooperative Savings and Credit Society Limited
Duty Station: Kiruhura, Uganda
Reports to: General Manager
About Organisation:
Rushere Cooperative Savings and Credit Society Limited is a registered SACCO in Rushere Town Council, Nyabushozi County, in Kiruhura District. It operates in the districts of Kiruhura, Ibanda, and Mbarara, Sembabule, Kamwenge, Kyegegwa and Lyantonde.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts and financial operations
- Prepare monthly & quarterly financial reports
- Reconcile transactions
- Manage debtors and creditors records
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration (Accounting and Finance), or related field from a recognized institution
- CPA holder, at least level two
- Three to five years of experience in accounts, with at least 2 years at a supervisory level
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy and knowledge of accounting packages
- Ability to work independently
- High levels of integrity and confidentiality
- Deadline-oriented
- Understanding of the business environment
