Job Summary: The Technical Services Manager will maintain and manage all aspects of physical alarm systems and provide professional interface with all stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To manage and provide leadership role to the technical team.
- Ensure proficient systems upgrade and integration at all times by staying informed about new technologies.
- Provide training and support to the team at all times
- Develop workable departmental annual budget in line with set guidelines and internal controls at all levels.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering is an added advantage
- Minimum of five (5) years in a similar position with three (03) years at supervisory level
- Demonstrable experience in CCTV installation, maintenance
- Exposure to low voltage cabling infrastructure and operating systems is valuable.
- Experience in managing teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skills.
- A strong analytical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to make important decisions in a fast paced environment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents.
- Ability to organize and plan a demanding workload and work within tight deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well
