Job Summary: The Dispenser will manage the clinic dispensary, participate in the preparation, documentation and dispensing of drugs and other supplies to clients. This service requires a professional demeanour, excellent communication skills and empathy to ensure that patients are accurately counselled to improve their adherence to treatment and other guidelines.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
- Registration with the Uganda Allied Health Professionals Council.
- Knowledge of key pharmacology terms and standards
- Experience in dispensing is an added advantage
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of CCU drug formulary and pharmacy standards and procedures.
- Excellent customer care and communication skills
- Knowledge of key drug indications, regimen and interactions.
