Job Title:    Senior Science Officer – Research Integrity

About US:

The Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST) is a Government agency established in 1990 by an Act of Parliament (CAP. 209) of the Laws of Uganda. The agency is mandated to facilitate the development and implementation of strategies for integrating Science and Technology (S&T) into the national development process.

Job Summary:  The Senior Science Officer – Research Integrity will provide legal counsel and coordinate the development and Implementation of standards, guidelines, and procedures for management of research integrity in all aspects of the Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) ecosystem.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a degree in law with a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Law Development Centre in Uganda.
• At least five years of work experience in a Research environment/Public administration/Corporate Governance.
